In-Home and Community Based Services
South Shore therapies is providing occupational, feeding and speech therapy services in-your home and in other community settings such as daycares (including in-home daycares), preschools, private schools, or learning centers. In-home and community based services can support skill development in the child’s natural environment. These services can adjunct in-clinic and/or academic school services to help your child generalize important life skills and promote successful participation across environments.
In-Home: Our therapists will travel to your home to provide individualized treatment in the child’s natural environment on a weekly basis. This model puts a strong emphasis on parent/caregiver coaching and training to support your child’s growth and development.
Daycares/Preschools/Private Schools: Pending the organizations policies, our therapists can provide individualized treatment at the preschool or daycare during the hours the child is there. This model provides an opportunity to support your child’s success in the academic/social setting. Our skilled clinicians can help support teachers and create an optimal learning environment for your child.
Community Organizations: We are open to providing services in other community group setting when appropriate. If you think a setting may be appropriate, contact us.

How do I get my child started?
If you are interested in pursuing services for your child, call us at 781-335-6663 and our team will schedule a free-intake call with one of our skilled clinicians. This call is to learn more about your child and determine the appropriate evaluation and/or treatment that will best address your functional concerns. Our insurance coordinator will check your benefits to help you understand any out of pocket costs for services (e.g. deductibles, co-payments, non-covered services, etc.) and our scheduling team will work with you to determine place and time for evaluation and/or treatment.
All evaluations are completed at one of our South Shore Therapies clinic locations. Once the evaluation has been completed and services are deemed appropriate for your child, on-going service options will be discussed with you.
